Job Purpose
|
Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the Executive Director for Finance and Personnel provides fiscal planning, financial management, staff personnel operations, revenue planning and performance, and organizational and business matters for the Office of the Provost, the schools, and the subdivisions under the purview of the Provost.

Minimum Requirements
|
Master’s degree preferred, in business, finance, accounting, or a closely related discipline. CPA preferred. Expectation of 5 years of progressively responsible experience leading and managing financial and business operations at another university or an equivalent large, complex organization. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
|
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
|
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to establish short- and long-term priorities, develop strategic approaches to problem solving, and interact effectively with a broad diversity of audiences and constituencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, data management and technical skills.
|
Additional Comments Regarding Position
|
Must be able to travel to conferences and workshops as needed.
|
