The Office of Naval Intelligence’s (ONI) Farragut Technical Analysis Center (TAC) has a vacancy announcement on its website that is open until 30 June for several GG-7/9 Interdisciplinary positions (general, computer, or electrical engineering; or naval architect; or physics; or chemistry; or mathematics; or computer science).  The link to the vacancy announcement is:  https://www.oni.navy.mil/Careers/Current-Openings/.  The individuals filling these positions will serve as entry level/developmental all-source, scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) analysts within one of Farragut’s six departments.  The incumbents will apply analytical expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills on a daily basis to solve complex intelligence problems and drive intelligence collection efforts.  These positions have promotion potential to GG-13.  See the announcement for specifics on the responsibilities, education requirements, conditions of employment, and qualification requirements and additional information pertaining to the positions.  The selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).  Selectees may be required to successfully complete a polygraph testing.  These jobs are open to all US citizens. 

ONI and its Centers are located in Suitland, MD, which is a few miles south of Washington, DC.  Farragut TAC is the U.S. Navy's Center of Excellence for strategic scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) analysis of foreign technologies, sensors, weapons, platforms, combat systems, C4ISR, and cyber capabilities.
