Keep North Charleston Beautiful will host a volunteer garden event on Saturday, July 20 at Quarterman Park. Volunteers will be at the park from 8am-1pm spreading mulch, transplanting plants, and cleaning up some of the flowerbeds in the park. Volunteers will meet near the intersections of Old Park Road and South Boulevard. (For GPS purposes, the park address is 1126 Buist Avenue.)
Please dress comfortably for working outside, with closed-toe shoes. There are no on-site restrooms, but there are restrooms available a short walk down Buist Avenue at the new Park Circle facilties. Please bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, hats, and anything else needed to comfortably work outside.
