We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Assistant General Manager (AGM)to help lead our team and grow with our company.
Position Summary
The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all daily operations of the car wash, including team leadership, customer service, safety, and facility maintenance. The AGM plays a key role in training staff, maintaining a positive culture, and ensuring smooth operations during all shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient car wash environment
- Supervise and motivate team members, ensuring high levels of performance and morale
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor tunnel and equipment performance; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance
- Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling staff
- Track inventory, sales, and key performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
- Open and close the site as needed, managing cash handling and daily reporting
- Step into the General Manager role when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role (car wash, retail, service, or automotive preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn car wash equipment systems
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
