Manufacturing Production Operator
Join our growing team at our 50 acre state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located on the Ridgeville Industrial Campus in Ridgeville, SC.
Sundaram-Clayton USA, LLC, is a leading supplier of aluminum cast products to global automotive equipment manufacturers (OEM’s). Our Ridgeville facility manufactures aluminum high-pressure, die-cast products and permanent mold gravity cast parts. Sundaram-Clayton USA, LLC is a part of the multi-billion $ TVS Group, one of the largest automotive and automotive components manufacturing and distribution groups in India.

We are seeking Manufacturing Production Operators to join our already great team. Our Manufacturing Production Operators can work in a number of roles, including:
- Assembly Operator
- Casting Operator
- Melting Operator
- Shot Blast Operator
- Heat Treat Operator
- CNC Operator
- Core Operator
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fully support the SCUSA Safety programs.
- Acquire job assignment from Team Leader.
- Support the team and the team members.
- Operate production equipment as assigned.
- Perform product inspection.
- Perform standardized work as instructed by Team Leader.
- Perform operator maintenance tasks within his/her team.
- Increase his/her competence to be able to maintain and continuously improve his/her activities.
- Contribute to a good work environment.
- Support new activities, improvements, and reorganizations.
- Assist with training, either training newer employees or filling in so that personnel can be setup for training.
To be considered, you must possess the following education, skills, experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing Lean Certificate preferred.
- 1 year manufacturing experience OR One year military experience OR One year general labor experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job such as lifting and moving up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, squatting or kneeling. · Availability to work any shift.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
