We are looking to hire a veteran or veteran/active duty military spouse to help us maintain our Charleston and surrounding area location. This is a mobile based business where we perform 2 main functions: 1. Moving claim inspections 2. furniture repairs in home. You must be willing to go in to people's homes and inspect their household items and perform repairs. You must be able to pass a background check, secure entry on to a military base as needed (preferably with a military ID card), have a clean driving record, and submit to random drug tests. We only hire people we would want in our own home. You must be neat, presentable, professional, courteous, and able to be somewhat tech saavy using Google Calendars, Estatus app, and email.
We offer the full training and support for how to perform inspections, software report training, provide training and all materials on basic furniture repair, provide a vehicle/van along with all tools, provide a cell phone or a stipend, options to participate in a 401K, childcare FSA, and medical reimbursement program (QSEHRA). We have a 4 day scheduled appointments work week with 1 day work from home completing reports, repairs as needed, and vehicle maintenance for the following week (equivalent to a 40 hour work week). The more abilities and initiative you show, the better your pay is. This is an ideal job if you have basic tool and repair abilities, do not want to have to schedule your own appointments (we have office staff that do all of the paperwork and contacting), enjoy meeting different people every day, and work a 4 day appointment work week.
Salary of $45,000 starting out for person with zero background. Salary Range is $45,00-60,000 plus additional benefits.
