Description You will serve as a Transportation Specialist in the NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.

Your resume must demonstrate at least I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
  1. Performing a wide variety of complex assignments related to the evaluation of the movement, safety, security, transportation, and storage of HAZMAT by all modes of transportation (land, air, and sea).
  2. Preparing HAZMAT for shipment to include, but not limited to mission planning, safety review, problem resolution, transportation/storage coordination and issue of waivers in accordance with organizational standard operating procedures.
  3. Searching, collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and developing complete technical information and data on various systems for the purpose of recovery and transport missions.
  4. Identifying HAZMAT issues associated with safety, security, compliance and enforcement policies and procedures.
