We are currently searching for an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. An employee in this position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. Strict adherence to Company and/or Plant policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required. A commitment to carrying out the expectation for a quality product is required. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works with plant leadership in striving for excellence in regards to safety
- Looks for opportunities to implement new measures and improve current measures to make our facilities as safe as possible
- Responsible for running the asphalt plant and loading trucks
- Operates front end loader and runs ground operations
- Communicates with Asphalt Operations using company Logistics software
- Assists maintenance personnel in projects around the Asphalt Plant
- Uses plant communication tools to discuss and troubleshoot plant operations
Experience:
- 1-2 years of plant operations experience
