The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Charleston is seeking creative and caring volunteers to serve as Budget for Baby Blanket Makers. In this role, you will use your quilting, crocheting, or knitting skills to make handmade baby blankets that are gifted to expectant parents who attend our Budget for Baby workshops. These blankets provide warmth and comfort while also serving as a meaningful keepsake for military families welcoming a new baby. The office will provide all blanket specifications to ensure consistency and quality. This position is perfect for volunteers who enjoy crafting and want to contribute their talents from home or in a group setting. Must have the ability to access base independently when delivering blankets in person. No client interaction is required, and materials are provided by the volunteer. Serving as a Blanket Maker is a rewarding way to directly support the NMCRS mission and show care to service members and their families.
