The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Charleston is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic volunteer to serve as a Budget for Baby (B4B) Instructor. In this role, you will lead interactive workshops for service members and their families, teaching practical financial skills such as budgeting, managing expenses, and preparing for baby-related costs. Instructors also provide information on NMCRS resources and community support services, distribute baby layettes and educational materials, and foster a welcoming environment that encourages open discussion and learning. Strong communication and presentation skills are important, and while prior teaching or financial counseling experience is helpful, full training and support will be provided. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of military families while also developing valuable teaching and counseling skills. Must have the ability to access base independently. Workshops are held at the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station.
